Mr. Baker began his insurance career in 1982. Since then, he has primarily worked with larger commercial property and casualty clients and been involved in all lines of coverage including but not limited to those listed above. He also has experience in working with his client's self-insured programs. Following Hurricane Kartina, Mr. Baker established the first captive insurance program in Louisiana for a multibillion dollar property exposure. He has also been involved in assisting his clients throughout the claims process during coverage disputes. Mr. Baker became an Associate of Robert Hughes Associates, Inc., in 2024.
